This Privacy Policy applies to the Fileora mobile application developed by Mikael Tenshio.

Fileora includes:

• Onboarding and a home view for recent files and category shortcuts
• Category-based browsing for images, videos, audio, documents, archives, and downloads
• Search over visible local file and folder metadata
• Permission-gated Android file access with preview-mode sample data on the web build
• Settings, help, trash, and action-sheet interface flows for local file management

Fileora does not show account registration, cloud-sync accounts, or a developer-operated server for storing your personal files. The current Android app does not include Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, or any developer analytics service. Fileora is centered on files already stored on your device.

database Information Stored Locally

Fileora keeps app state on the device. Local or in-app data may include:

• Onboarding, appearance, navigation, and confirmation preferences
• Starred-file references and lightweight settings stored in shared preferences
• A local file index, recent file lists, category counts, and storage summary data shown in the interface
• Thumbnail cache files and temporary selection state while you use the app

This local data is used for app features and faster loading. It is not sent to Mikael Tenshio, a developer server, Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, or any custom analytics endpoint.

folder_open File Access and Metadata

When permission is granted on Android, Fileora reads local file information to populate the interface. The app may access metadata such as:

• File name
• File size
• Last modified date
• File extension or type category
• Folder path, absolute path, or local URI used for display and file actions

This information is used on the device so Fileora can show file lists, recent items, search results, category groupings, starred files, thumbnails, and file actions such as open, rename, copy, move, share, delete, or restore.

verified_user No Analytics or Crash Reporting

The current Android app does not include Firebase Analytics, Google Analytics, Crashlytics, or any developer-operated tracking or crash-reporting SDK.

Fileora does not send usage events, crash logs, diagnostics, file names, file contents, file paths, file metadata, or local app settings to Mikael Tenshio or a developer server.

App stores, Android, device manufacturers, device backup or transfer services, and operating systems may still process routine technical data under their own policies outside the developer's direct control.

data_exploration Permissions and Device Features

The Android app Fileora currently declares:

• MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE - for all-files access on supported Android versions
• READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE - for Android 12 and lower read access
• WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE - for Android 10 and lower write access
• FileProvider support - present in the Android project for local file URI handling

The current manifest does not declare Internet, camera, microphone, contacts, precise location, SMS, call-log, or media-specific READ_MEDIA_IMAGES, READ_MEDIA_VIDEO, or READ_MEDIA_AUDIO permissions.

delete Data Retention and Deletion

Locally stored app data remains on the device until you clear app storage, clear browser storage where applicable, or uninstall the app.

File metadata shown in the interface is refreshed from locally accessible device sources. If a file is removed from your device outside Fileora, it may stop appearing once the list reloads.

Fileora's Android backup rules may include lightweight shared-preference data, such as onboarding state, settings, and starred-file references, in Android cloud backup or device transfer if those platform features are enabled on your device. The developer does not receive that backup data.

child_care Children's Privacy

Fileora is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through a developer-managed account system for this app.

Acceptance of Terms

By installing, accessing, or using Fileora, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the app.

Permitted Use

Fileora is provided as a local file-management and browsing utility for lawful personal, educational, and internal productivity use. You agree not to misuse the app, interfere with its operation, or use it for unlawful, deceptive, or unauthorized purposes.

Local File Responsibility

You are responsible for the content stored on your device, the permissions you grant, and any files you choose to manage or expose through your device.

The developer is not responsible for losses caused by device-level deletion, permission denial, scoped-storage restrictions, system behavior, shared-device access, or other apps' handling of local files.

Feature Scope and Availability

Fileora currently emphasizes local browsing, search, category views, and interface-level management flows. Some visual actions shown in the user interface may evolve over time and may not represent every future capability in every build or platform.

Web previews may use bundled sample data and may not reflect the full Android native-file experience.

Platform Services

Fileora does not use developer analytics, crash reporting, cloud sync, or a developer backend. Your use of the app may still involve Google Play, Android, device backup or transfer, browser preview, device, or operating-system services outside the developer's direct control.

Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

Limitation of Liability

Fileora is provided on an as is and as available basis, without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer, as creator of the app, shall not be liable for file deletion, file movement, file corruption, storage-access issues, permission choices, device-level data loss, third-party app behavior, or any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive losses or damages arising from or related to your use of, reliance on, or inability to use Fileora.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it cannot legally be limited, including rights that cannot be excluded under consumer protection, product liability, or other applicable laws.

Intellectual Property

Fileora, including its branding, design, logo, original code, and related materials, is the intellectual property of the developer unless otherwise stated. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or decompile the app except as allowed by applicable law.

Changes to These Terms

These Terms and the accompanying Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Continued use of Fileora after updates are published constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
