Loanora Privacy Policy and Terms

Introduction

This Privacy Policy applies to the Loanora mobile application developed by Mikael Tenshio.

The app currently includes:

Loan name, amount, interest rate, term, payment frequency, start date, and first payment date inputs for fixed-rate loan estimates
Estimated monthly payment, total payment, total interest, and payoff date views
Detailed payment schedules showing principal, interest, and remaining balance
Comparison scenarios for lower-rate, faster-payoff, and lighter-payment options
Optional saved loan records, payment tracking, reminders, backup export, backup import, and schedule sharing

Core loan calculations, saved records, settings, reminders, and backup preparation run locally in the app. Loanora does not require a user account, online sync, analytics, advertising, or a developer-operated backend service.

Data Stored Locally

Loanora saves selected loan scenarios in local app storage so you can reopen them later from the app. Depending on how you use the app, locally stored data may include:

Loan names, amounts, interest rates, terms, payment frequency, dates, and extra payment values
Saved loan status, generated timestamps, and local record identifiers
Payment-tracking details such as paid or unpaid status, paid dates, and reminder preferences
Currency preference, number-display preference, and theme preference
Temporary in-app state for the currently active estimate while you use the app

Saved data is kept in the app's private local storage on your device. If a previous version of Loanora stored data in WebView local storage, the native app may read that previous local data and import it into the current local storage format.

No Analytics, Ads, or Online Account Services

The current Android release does not include analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, crash-reporting SDKs, in-app purchases, or developer-operated cloud storage for your loan records.

App stores and device operating systems may process routine technical information when you install, update, back up, or run apps. That platform-level handling is separate from Loanora's in-app storage and calculations.

Permissions and Device Features

Notifications - used only if you enable local payment reminders and allow notification permission on supported Android versions
Boot completed - used to reschedule local reminders after your device restarts or the app is updated
FileProvider - used to hand locally generated backup or schedule files to the Android share sheet when you choose to export or share them
Local app storage - used to keep saved loan records and settings

Loanora does not request Internet, camera, microphone, contacts, precise location, SMS, call log, calendar, or broad media-library permissions for its core features.

Data Retention and Deletion

Saved loan history stays on your device until you remove it. You can clear local history inside the app, clear the app's storage from your device settings, or uninstall the app.

Exported backup or schedule files remain wherever you choose to save or share them. You are responsible for deleting those copies from the selected destination if you no longer want to keep them.

Calculation and Financial Disclaimer

Loanora provides estimate-based calculations using the values you enter and the formulas implemented in the app. The results are informational only and are not a substitute for lender disclosures, regulated financial advice, or a binding loan offer.

Differences in lender fees, compounding methods, payment timing, rounding, taxes, insurance, or other contractual terms may cause actual loan costs to differ from the app's estimates.

Children's Privacy

Loanora is not directed to children under 13. The app does not provide a developer-managed account or online collection flow for children's personal information.

Acceptance of Terms

By installing, accessing, or using Loanora, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the app.

Permitted Use

Loanora is provided as a loan estimation and comparison utility for lawful personal, educational, or internal planning use. You agree not to misuse the app, interfere with its operation, or use it for unlawful or misleading purposes.

Estimate Disclaimer

Loanora provides estimated results only. Monthly payments, payoff dates, total interest, schedules, and comparison scenarios are based on the information you enter and the app's calculation logic.

These outputs do not constitute financial advice, credit approval, a lending commitment, or a guarantee that any lender will offer matching terms.

Local Data Disclaimer

If you save loan records, that data remains on the device until you clear it or remove the app. You are responsible for the security of your device and for any information you choose to enter into saved estimates, payment tracking, or settings.

Reminders, Import, and Export

Local payment reminders are convenience tools. Reminder delivery depends on your device settings, notification permission, system clock, battery rules, and operating system behavior.

Backup and schedule exports may contain loan details. You are responsible for reviewing exported files before sharing them and for choosing where imported or exported data is stored.

Limitation of Liability

Loanora is provided on an as is and as available basis, without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer, as creator of the app, shall not be liable for loan-estimate inaccuracies, interest or payment calculation differences, financial decisions, lender disputes, reminder delivery, imported or exported file handling, saved-record loss, device issues, or any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive losses or damages arising from or related to your use of, reliance on, or inability to use Loanora.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it cannot legally be limited, including rights that cannot be excluded under consumer protection, product liability, or other applicable laws.

Intellectual Property

Loanora, including its branding, design, original code, and related materials, is the intellectual property of the developer unless otherwise stated. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or decompile the app except as allowed by applicable law or with explicit permission.

Changes to These Terms

These Terms and the accompanying Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Continued use of Loanora after updates are published constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
